Dallas Arcand, a world champion Hoop Dancer, visited us. He shared stories, dance and music with the youth about his journey.

Students and staff dressed up to celebrate Halloween for an afternoon of activities, performance and snacking!

Students and staff enjoyed a special meal, creative performance activities, special guests for drumming and song, and gifts before we closed for the holidays.

Our thanks for healthy snack donations from two companies: Peak Financial Solutions and Park Place Financial. We received over $500 in snacks that included granola bars, yogurts, fruit cups and more. We thank all those who have helped support us!

On September 30th, our school stood together at Elk island National Park, remembering the past, reconnecting, and building relationships for the future. Much has changed over our decades of operation but what hasn't changed is that the youth we serve continue to inspire us. We are re-energized in our commitment to help youth help themselves.

With the help of a guest choreographer named Seonagh Kummer, staff member Linda, supported by Tanys, worked with our drama group after school creating tableaus that honoured and responded to the unmarked graves of children found buried at former residential schools.
